Dawson Grain Coop provides a competitive market for all your grain needs. We offer prices on grain delivered direct to our elevators and grain delivered direct to our area terminals. We can also pick up grain on the farm for your convenience.

We are now offering free D.P.(storage) on both Corn and Soybeans through Aug. 31. Grain must be priced on or before that date.

 

 

 

    D.P Corn dumped after 10-25-07 will be dried and shrunk to 15%   

 

 

Storage, D.P., and Drying rates Fall 2007

 

  1. 10 days open storage (no charge) if left on D.P. or storage after the 10 days charges go back to the first day received. (You may store and apply to a contract with in the 10 days.)
  2. Storage 12 cents minimum goes until Jan. 1, after that the rate will be 4 cents per month charged on a per day rate.
  3. D.P. 12 cents minimum goes until Jan. 1, after that the rate will be 3 cents per month charged on a per day rate.
  4. Drying charges, 4 cents per point with a 6-cent minimum and 1.5-% shrink. (All corn will be dried and shrunk to 15% for L.D.P. purposes), after it has been L.D.P.ed if left on storage or D.P. it will be recalculated to the lower rate.
  5. Cash sales at the dump and Contracts will be dried and shrunk to 15% moisture.
  6. D.P. will be dried and shrunk to 14%
  7. Storage and warehouse receipts will be dried and shrunk to 13%
  8. All dispositions will only be changed during the 10 days of free storage, after that time they will remain in the position they were put in.

With this storage plan we hope to be able to provide storage for our customers all through harvest. If this changes we will keep you informed at the dumps.
